PC Here We Come!!!

When people ask me where I am going, I have to chuckle as I say, "Park City, Utah." They give me a sort of puzzled look as they think "Why the heck would they go there!?"
Well people.......because we love to ski! Yes, we are the crazy one's that leave the cold for the cold, but at least it will be warmer there than here....well not at the top of the mountain :)
So I have been a crazy person this week trying to get my brain wrapped around EVERYTHING I have to pack for not only myself but "BayBay" as Sari calls her.
My parents have had this timeshare for over 10 years now so needless to say we have been there a lot and know PC really well. I can't wait to take Aubrie there for the first time! Pray for us as we go on a plane w/ her for the first time!!!! :) Thankfully there are plenty of us to pass her around too if she decides she doesn't like to fly.
Fun pics and stories to come!
Until the 28th!

She loves her bouncie seat

Hooray! Asleep at last!

Feb. Picture Update

I tried to make something fun for her to do while in the swing!

Sound asleep after a walk outside

Such a cute face!

I totally bundled her up!

Pre-walk pic

This was hilarious. We put Aubrie in the swing while we sat down to eat dinner. We look over and the blanket in the swing had fallen down on her head, but she didn't care!
February has come and gone so quickly. It is already the last week of the month and of course crazy for me at work. Luke was in Madison yesterday and today and then leaves for Fargo for a Squirt Hockey tournament on Thursday and comes back Sunday night. Hockey has been great for Luke this year, but I am definitely looking forward to the 2nd weekend in March when there is NO HOCKEY! I am just looking forward to having Luke home at a normal hour during the week. And hopefully then able to get to go and workout more. I joined InFit in Albertville and have been doing classes. Not going as much as I would like, but after this week and then hockey being over I will hopefully get there more.
On another note, Aubrie has started teething. I can't believe it! I feel like it is so early. Also, the doctor told me I can start feeding her rice cereal. I am not sure if she needs it yet, but I think we will give it a try this weekend.
On another personal note, Luke and I are starting to talk about baby #2. I am definitely not ready to be pregnant again. But we just have been talking about how long we think we want to wait to try again. Trying again brings up so many scary things and mixed emotions for me. Part of me feels like we have this perfect baby girl and just leave things at that, but I do have a desire for us to have more than just 1 and I feel like God gives us the desires of our heart. So right now I am just praying about it for Luke and I, that God will direct our thoughts and when the time is right. I would like to have my kids 2-3 years apart, I think that is ideal, but we'll see. Only God knows.
On another note. I have done absolutely NOTHING the past 2 nights! I figure I will take a couple nights to relax and then get to my house work later in the week :)
Here is my TO DO list while Luke is gone:
1. Wash the floors
2. Put items on Craigslist
3. Laundry, Laundry and More Laundry
4. Order pictures from Shutterfly
5. Work on Aubrie's "Day you were born" book (I am making her a book on shutterfly of the day she was born and all the pictures from that day and the story of how she came into this world)
So my list isn't too long, right? :)
Happy last week of February friends!

Stress Relievers

I have been feeling a little overwhelmed lately. It is hard to be a mom, a wife, work full time...the list goes on. So this weekend Luke surprised me and had one of the Hockey mom's watch Aubrie on Saturday so I could have some time to myself. I ended up going to get a massage, it was wonderful and much needed!
I have realized the past couple weeks that the way I relieve my stress is by working out, and I haven't really been able to do that lately. So last night I went to InFit in Albertville and joined! I took a Spin class last night and absolutely LOVED it! I get 1 week free at Anytime Fitness and after the day I had today am hoping to run there for just a little bit after Aubrie goes to bed. I told Luke that if he wants me to stay sain I have to do this for myself :)

That is all for now. My Aunt is in town from California and I am going to see her tonight. She will get to meet Aubrie for the first time! :)

Hope everyone has a great week. Here is a pic. of my little punkin from this past weekend. Enjoy!

The Juggling Act

My life is now a circus and I am a juggler!!!
I can't imagine what life will be like when I have to run kids around to different events and activities.
It has definitely been an adjustment being back to work. Thankfully I work at a place that when I leave work I am done for the day and don't take anything home with me. I have loved picking Aubrie up from Daycare or Grandma's and seeing her smile at me. I miss her everyday but know she is well taken care of with Vicki (Daycare lady) and her 2 Grandma's. The hard part comes once I get home....all the things that need to be done. And for those of you who know me well....I am my mother's daughter! And actually proud of it! :) My mom taught me that I should put my things away and keep a clean house. I try my best to do that, but it definitely is harder w/ little princess Aubrie around :)
I have realized that if I give myself 1 thing to do a night, then that helps me stay on top of things. Last night as I sat in bed feeding Aubrie at 7pm I actually fell asleep. I thought I wouldn't have the motivation to get anything done, thankfully I did and even was able to workout! Hooray!

I am looking forward to tomorrow night because Luke doesn't have hockey. We are going to have dinner and crack open a bottle of wine and watch Dexter once we get Aubrie to bed....Looking forward to that!
