I know......Way too long

I have no time these days to blog......sorry to all my fans! ;)

Here is what you all really want to see.

Aubrie and I had a Mommy and Aubrie day together.....we had breakfast at our favorite place and then I got home to a dog that got into formula ALL over Aubrie's room....Needless to say my Aubrie and Mommy day was consumed by me trying to entertain Aubrie while I rented a carpet cleaner and cleaned the carpets in her room.

Things have been pretty crazy around the Peterson household lately.

First, my Grandma died I think the week after the 4th of July...I don't even know what dates it was anymore. It was so sad to say goodbye to my Grandma, but she lived a very long and happy life. I will never forget all the things she taught me...how to sew, how to bake and how to love your children., my Grandma's Boys were always her pride and joy and would light her up when they walked in the room.

We have spent a lot of weekends at the lake and some at home. Luke played in a golf tournament a couple weeks ago at Minnetonka Country Club, him and his partner finished 3rd and he had a great time. We took Thursday and Friday off this last week and went to the Como Zoo on Thursday for the first time. Aubrie LOVED the Giraffe's and Zebra's, we had a great time just the 3 of us. Friday we headed up to the lake and spent the afternoon out on the boat. A very relaxing and fun weekend.

Now it is back to work and regular life and looking forward to the next time I have a day off to spend w/ my little punkin :)

Way behind...

Father's Day weekend we spent up at BBL......we had a great time. Aubrie had fun w/ her Uncle Ryan, though it always seems like he puts her to sleep :)

It was great to spend time w/ the Fam!

Fun in the Sun

Finally, we were able to get outside with Aubrie and enjoy some sunshine, even though I kept her in the shade most of the time :)

New things Aubrie has experienced in the last couple of weeks:

- sitting in the grass, most the time she grabs at it and tries to put it in her mouth

-going in a swimming pool....I realized how protective I really am once we put her in a floaty in the pool. I stood over her the whole time and didn't want her to tip over :)

-meeting a horse and a cow for the first time, she LOVED the horses and kicked and flailed her arms and made noises at the horses. She like the cows too. The cow even sniffed her leg, it was so cute.

- Uncle Kurbis held Aubrie for a LONG time.....they bonded....it was so cute!

-Aubrie ate peaches for the first time and loved them. She is doing better all the time at baby food. Still not crazy about table food, but that is ok.

All in All, everyone in the Peterson household is doing good......Luke and I just hit the 7 year mark! Crazy how time goes by so fast.

Have a great week!

7 months and Memorial Day Weekend

The sassy seat - My grandma bought this for me when I was a baby, sure makes me feel old!

Aubrie's first boat ride, she screamed the whole time. It was super windy and cold. Don't worry I took this life jacket off her, she couldn't move a muscle.

We had a fun weekend, went on walks, first boat ride, played games and spent lots of time outside.

My little punkin - So cute!

We had a great weekend at BBL. It was nice to relax, spend time with family, eat great food, play games, have a bonfire and be on the lake. Can't wait for our next weekend at BBL.....let's just hope we have warmer weather. :)

Crab Legs

Luke went and bought crab legs for dinner tonight. I had never made them before, but were SO easy to make and SO nummy! Worth every penny.

We had a great weekend. Luke had a golf tournament on Friday so it was just Aubrie and I. We hung out with the Bigalke girls and then Aubrie was in bed by 8pm and I watched Mama Mia.

Saturday I jazzercized in the morning, then we unloaded a bunch of stuff from our storage room and brought it to Goodwill, ran errands and then met the Martin's for dinner at Rancho Grande....our fav. Mexican spot in Monticello.

Today we had "The Church has Left the Building" at church. There was a short service and then we headed to the Town Greene in Maple Grove and did weeding and mulching. It was really fun to be able to serve with Luke. We had a great time and then had lunch w/ my mom at Sawtdee. (A lot of eating out this weekend!)

Aubrie is doing great. She turned 7 months old yesterday!
Luke and I are trying to get her to say, "Da da". She will say, Dadadada, but doesn't know who "da da" is yet.....she rolls over now from her belly to back and is just so fun. It must be a sight to see when it is Luke, Myself, Aubrie, Sadie and Hogan all in Aubrie's room on the ground playing :)

I hope everyone has a great week!

She had to eat prunes

Aubrie had to eat prunes so she could do her business. She actually really loved them. I couldn't resist her messy face. She is starting to eat more real food other than just rice cereal...

We don't have a whole lot going on this weekend and I am thankful for that. I am going to try and get some rest :)

Have a great weekend.

Aubrie's Dedication and Mother's Day

We had Aubrie's dedication on Mother's Day. It was a great day and I was glad to be able to have both Auntie's and Uncles there for Aubrie. We are so blessed to have a wonderful family that loves us. I am also excited for Aubrie to have a great church to be brought up in.

A magazine is so much fun

I set Aubrie on the couch one evening and the Schwan's catalog was sitting there. She seriously destroyed the whole thing and had so much fun doing it!

Easter in Iowa

We had a great time in Iowa. Aubrie did fabulous both car rides there and back, and she did great being with the rowdy Peterson gang :)

The highlight of our trip was Aubrie's first road trip of course, her first Easter and Easter basket, AND an easter egg hunt with all of Luke's cousins for 14 eggs on 80 acres of land and me winning the HUGE $10 prize!!!

It was really nice to spend time with Luke's whole family.
